An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered mental health nurse to work within the Argyll and Bute Addiction Team based in Cowal.

You will be a member of an integrated health and social care team and as such have links to the wider multi disciplinary team.

You should possess sound clinical knowledge and be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills - including the ability to offer interventions and deliver safe, effective care to a diverse client population.

You will be required to carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate recovery plans.

You will manage your own caseload and provide support to the local GP practices in their shared care clinics for opioid replacement therapy.

The post requires you to work as part of the wider multi disciplinary team. You should possess good interpersonal skills and have a commitment to partnership working.

Significant post registration experience is required as well as relevant experience in the Drug and Alcohol field.
