Job Title: Commercial Contract and Performance Manager – Imaging Infrastructure

Contract Type: Permanent

### Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing one of the Trust's most strategically important commercial partnerships: the Managed Equipment Service (MES) contract underpinning imaging infrastructure across University Hospital Southampton.

Working within the Imaging Infrastructure Service and reporting to the Head of Programme: Imaging Infrastructure (IISS), you will act as the Trust's principal day-to-day commercial lead. You will work closely with clinical, operational, procurement, finance, digital and supplier stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations, service standards and value-for-money objectives are achieved, supporting high-quality patient care.

Alongside operational management, governance and performance oversight of this significant multi-million-pound contract, you will lead the procurement, negotiation and mobilisation of its successor, helping shape a long-term strategic investment that will support services for the next decade and beyond.

You will lead supplier performance management, contract governance, commercial reviews and service improvement, providing specialist commercial and contractual advice to senior leaders. Through effective stakeholder engagement, robust performance management and strong commercial oversight, you will help the Trust maximise value, manage risk and deliver sustainable, innovative and high-performing imaging infrastructure services for patients and staff.

What Experience/Skills Are Needed:

- Significant experience managing complex commercial contracts, outsourced services or managed service arrangements.
- Experience of supplier relationship management, contract governance and performance management, including the use of KPIs and service level agreements.
