You would be working within the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT), Older Adults and The Intensive Life Skills (ILS) Pathway to provide assessment and intervention for adults 17+ experiencing complex emotional difficulties as part of the Adult Mental Health Service. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based interventions. You will support the service as either a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working within highly psychologically minded, enthusiastic, dedicated and supportive teams to support service-users who present with high levels of emotional distress and often have histories of complex trauma, neurodiversity and/or adverse experiences. The services use therapeutic models including Structured Clinical Management (SCM), attachment theory, behavioural theory, Compassion-Focussed Therapy, EMDR, Trauma-Focussed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mentalisation-Based Treatment. The successful candidate will have already completed or be working towards completion of the Advanced Application of CBT to Personality Difficulties. You will need to travel independently over a large geographical area and will require suitable transport. ### Main duties of the job As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, you will be expected to be a named worker and undertake holistic comprehensive assessments and formulation of complex clinical presentations, including risk assessments and risk management.
