We are seeking a motivated CBT Therapist to join our established, award-winning MHST on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support children and young people by helping reduce waiting times across the county.

You will deliver evidence-based CBT interventions as part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team, working closely with schools and partner services to improve timely access to care.

To support county-wide demand, we are open to negotiating your base location and clinical area, allowing flexibility to suit both service needs and your preferences.

- Qualified CBT Therapist (or working towards accreditation)
- Experience delivering CBT, ideally with children and young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach

### Main duties of the job

You will provide assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for a range of presenting difficulties for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

We have various teams across the MHST, all in various stages of training. This role will therefore give you a great opportunity to work with both qualified staff and trainees.

The role also offers a flexible style of working, as the team use a hybrid model, offering support both face to face and virtually to education staff, children, young people and their families.

You will need to be enthusiastic and very well organised and able to travel across Lincolnshire as needed to provide services. You will be expected to be able to work on your own initiative as well as work well within a multi-disciplinary setting. You will need to be an excellent communicator and team player.

## Person Specification

### Skills

**Essential**

- Ability to meet agreed/specified service targets.
- Ability to manage own caseload and time.
- Demonstrates high standards in written communication.
- Able to write clear reports and letters to referrers.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Has received training and carried out risk assessments within scope of practice.
- Understanding of issues surrounding clinical risk.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working with Children and Young People and their carers
- Experience of offering CBT assessments and interventions – individual and group
- Worked in a service where agreed targets in place demonstrating clinical outcome

**Desirable**

- Experience of working in CYP IAPT informed services
- Experience of working in school and college settings
- Experience of offering clinical and caseload management supervision

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Post graduate diploma in CBP and Accreditation with BABCP
- Professional qualification as Clinical Psychologist, Nurse, Social Worker Occupational Therapist or psychological therapy

**Desirable**

- Clinical Supervision Training or significant supervisory experience.
