We are seeking a well‑organised and motivated  Administrator to join our CMATS team in Wrexham. This role provides essential administrative support to clinicians and service leads, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of physiotherapy services.  There are potentially full or part time positions available.

The post holder will be responsible for a range of administrative and clerical duties, including managing patient appointments, maintaining accurate records, processing referrals, and acting as a first point of contact for patients and professionals. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workload in a busy healthcare environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administrative experience—ideally within an NHS or healthcare setting—who is passionate about supporting high‑quality patient care and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

### Main duties of the job

- Provide administrative support to the CMATS service, contributing to the effective day‑to‑day running of the service.
- Process referrals and manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations, in line with local procedures.
- Act as a first point of contact for patients, carers, and professionals, dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records on electronic and paper systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with information governance requirements.
- Prepare clinic lists and provide routine administrative support to clinicians as required.
- Monitor waiting lists and appointment outcomes, escalating any issues in accordance with agreed processes.
- Work effectively with administrative and clinical colleagues to support a positive patient journey

### Experience

**Essential**

- Previous clerical experience and knowledge of administration processes
- Previous customer service experience

**Desirable**

- Understanding of Health Board Policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Welsh Government waiting times guidelines

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Good general standard of education (eg. GCSE, O Level or equivalent in Maths and English)
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent knowledge / experience
- Basic IT skills

**Desirable**

- Understanding of Health Board Policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Welsh Government waiting times guidelines
