The Kolvin Service compromises a regional community adolescent forensic mental health service, a nationally commissioned FCAMHS provision; and integrated mental health and forensic service provision into two Secure Children’s Homes in the North East for young people aged 10-18 years. The post holder will need to be capable and adaptable to travel between sites when required. The current position will be service wide post to meet developmental consolidation, experience and service need.  The post holder will be complementing and contributing to a developing a dynamic service and leadership provision. ### Main duties of the job They will therefore need to be (commensurate with experience) confident in providing high quality evidence-based assessments and interventions, have experience of providing psychotherapies, formulation, trauma-informed care, multi-agency working / liaison and have an understanding and experience of working with young people with mental health, behavioural and emotional difficulties in complex environments. A demonstrable research, audit and evaluation perspective and competency is required. Developing and delivering staff training and methods of reflective practice will also form part of this role. The post holder will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work independently. There will be a requirement to share knowledge and skills specific to the specialism to other members of the team including stakeholders. Regular support, line management and clinical supervision will be available and provided.
