Job overview

A really exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the multidisciplinary ADHD service across Mid and South Essex. This post will be aligned with the South Essex Autism Service and in future we hope that we can look towards developing a more comprehensive neurodevelopmental service.

This post offers excellent clinical leadership and service development experiences. This post and service are the beginning of a journey to explore the potential for the development of neurodevelopmental services.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit further psychology input into this MDT. This post is crucial in spanning the clinical delivery of psychological assessment and intervention for people with suspected ADHD who are not already known to secondary mental health services. The team integrates and work in partnership with local Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and NHS Talking Therapies to develop further support for individuals. There is a role for ongoing training and consultation to the PCNs, mental health and GP colleagues in secondary and primary care services as well as in the wider community.

If you are innovative and passionate about improving access to and the quality of care for people with neurodevelopmental disorders this post is well suited to you.

Please contact us to explore and discuss this further.
