We also warmly welcome current 3rd Year Trainee Psychologists to apply on a Preceptorship basis, where appointment would be at Band 7, with progression to 8a over time. The Family Safeguarding Parent Mental Health Service is delivered by Psychologists employed by Midlands Partnership Foundation NHS Trust (MPFT) and embedded within Telford County Council’s Family Safeguarding Service. The service aims to provide timely mental health assessments, risk evaluations, and evidence-based psychological interventions for parents involved in child protection, who may otherwise struggle to access mental health services. The post involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Children’s Social Workers, Drug and Alcohol Recovery Workers, Domestic Abuse Practitioners, and Strengthening Families.
