We have 2 fixed-term 12-month vacancies for Clinical/Counselling Psychologists based in our Tamworth and Lichfield CAMHS teams, working alongside the multi-disciplinary teams and supported by a Principal Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Clinical Psychologist. These are a band 7 posts and we will support newly qualifying Clinical Psychologists, who may be seeking a Band 8a post in the future, via our development programme. We look forward to hearing from you! ### Main duties of the job - You will be responsible for the provision of a therapeutic psychological / mental health service to children & young people presenting with psychological distress and mental health difficulties. The role will incorporate complex assessments leading to psychological formulations and the delivery of effective interventions to this population. - All clinical staff in the team assist with the duty rota (9-5 on working days), contribute to initial assessments, manage risk and act as case managers for their general caseload. - CAMHS staff need to be able to work in a range of settings, most usually clinic settings but also including home visits, residential settings, and schools as well as attending meetings at different sites.
