Would you like to work for an outstanding Trust? An exciting opportunity has arisen for part-time Clinical or Counselling Psychologist 3 days per week within our North CYPMHS Service. We are an enthusiastic and supportive team who are motivated to support young people and their families with moderate to severe mental health needs within North Hertfordshire. We work closely with a range of colleagues in social care, schools and other partners. CYPMHS North is a part of HPFT CYPMHS , who have been at the forefront of national developments in CAMHS, including CAPA and CYP-IAPT.  We pride ourselves on the high quality service we provide as a multi-disciplinary team. The service is rapidly expanding in line the with evolving needs of young people in Hertfordshire. For candidates who do not yet meet all Band 8a criteria, appointment at Band 7 may be considered, with a structured developmental programme to support progression to Band 8a. ### Main duties of the job Main duties - To be responsible for a caseload of complex assessment, treatment and consultation work with children, adolescents and their families/carers and caring networks for those with problems of behavioural, emotional, attachment and trauma, emotional, psychological or mental health issues - Demonstrate effective leadership within the team, including being involved in service development, delivering training and providing clinical supervision. - To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team providing high quality mental health services to children and young people across North Hertfordshire. - To work in ways which are sensitive to and appropriate for the needs of families from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds.
