An exciting opportunity has arisen for an  enthusiastic and motivated person with excellent organisational skills to support us in managing and developing our pharmacy clinical trials service.

### Main duties of the job

The Clinical Trials Pharmacy team at UHSussex operates across Trust sites at Worthing, Chichester and Brighton.

The post-holder will work in the clinical trials pharmacy department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital..

Your role will be important in helping provide a dedicated pharmacy clinical trials service through IMP (Investigational Medicinal Product) management, IMP dispensing,  assisting in document administration, assisting in the set-up of new studies and liaising with colleagues from Pharmacy and from Research and Innovation.

To be successful you must have excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, be reliable, flexible and able to work on your own initiative as well as providing support to the clinical trials pharmacy team when required.

## Person Specification

### Essential / desirable

**Essential**

- 5 x A-C GCSE or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Pharmacy and dispensing experience
- GCP

**Desirable**

- Clinical trial experience
- Hospital pharmacy experience
