We are looking for an enthusiastic, Pharmacy Technician with experience of delivering strategic projects, and change management.  As part of our Operational Business Support Team, based at Maghull Health Park, you will have the opportunity to work across a number of service lines to drive forward the ambition of our Medicines Optimisation Strategy, the Modernisation of our Technical Services and a number of other strategic projects.

### Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be required to work with a number of key stakeholders to ensure objectives are delivered on time. Experience of working with Prince2 or other project methodology would be an advantage for potential applicants as you will be required to monitor progress within the scope of the project and present highlight reports and recommendations to the project group.

You will need to have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and able to work autonomously whilst driving forward several projects at once.

We offer hybrid working between home and base and as our services are geographically dispersed across the footprint of the Trust so there will be occasions when you will be required to travel to other sites, to meet the needs of the business.

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities: 1.  Act as the project lead for technical services on specific projects as required, utilising appropriate national guidance. 2.  Develop a strategy for the delivery of service developments targeting all stakeholders. 3.  Lead on service development in relation to specific projects. 4.  Ensure that the appropriate infrastructure is in place to deliver new service developments within the organisation including information technology, information systems, telecommunications and premises. 5.  Provide leadership and co-ordination across the organisation in developing identified services. 6.  Ensure robust project management and roll-out plans to deliver identified projects and services across the organisation. 7.  Develop and ensure appropriate implementation of policies to ensure objectives are met. 8.  Ensure that relevant operational procedures are in place for new service developments including clinical processes, record keeping, processing financial information and securing confidentiality. 9.  Produce all documentation and plans required by the organisation in relation to identified services within stated timescales. 10. Ensure appropriate interpretation of national policy to deliver local needs. 11. Produce reports, established on robust and reliable data for the information and action of others. 12. Manage delegated budgets across the organisation identifying any additional forms of income. Working to ensure maximum use is made of resources and achieving balance at year end. 13. Communicate clearly to own team and others and deliver presentations to groups as required. 14. Undertake full line management responsibilities for staff. 15. Undertake surveys and audits as necessary for maintaining and improving service delivery. 16. Work closely with colleagues to ensure that all developments are fully integrated with the organisation’s modernisation and commissioning agendas. 17. Develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders. 18. The post holder shall, as necessary, provide cover for and undertake duties of absent colleagues.
