### Job overview

The Mental Health Support Team \[MHST\] are a service that work within Camden primary and secondary schools, they offer direct interventions to CYP within the school context in a 1:1 and group format. They also support schools with a whole school offer, that can typically support educational staff. MHSTs work closely with other CAMHS colleagues in the Camden CAMHS Unit as well as external services (statutory and VCSEs).

### Main duties of the job

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a functional, task-based team, and can ensure they can communicate and liaise with administrative colleagues, patients, family members, external professionals and with clinical practitioners.

This should also include evidence of high-quality skills where attention to detail, strong IT skills and accurate patient data entry skills is essential and demonstrating the ability to use your initiative and prioritise your own workload. Having experience of using Carenotes our electronic patient record is desirable.

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
