This is a new and exciting role for suitably qualified doctors who will be key in the development, delivery and quality assurance of core curriculum teaching for the University of Cambridge Medical students placed at CUH/Addenbrooke’s Hospital. You will work in collaboration with a named educational supervisor in your department, the Clinical Sub-dean for medical students as well as the Director of Medical Education (DME) and other postgraduate doctors to support a learning culture, implement educational initiatives and provide peer support. ### Main duties of the job You will be part of a team of CUH doctors in Obstetrics and Gynaecology who will support the delivery of undergraduate/ medical education within the organisation as well as clinical service (50:50 education/clinical split with monthly rotation of duties). The role provides an opportunity for you to develop as a clinical educator while contributing to high-quality teaching and supporting learner development. In order to be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria; completion of UK based Foundation programme and competencies and a minimum of 4-6 months in surgery in the NHS Evidence of participation in educational activities relating to medical students will be required. Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.
