East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking experienced Clinical Support Workers to join our teams across our acute care settings.

As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, you will use your skills, knowledge and experience to provide high-quality, compassionate care, supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. You will play a key role in delivering safe and effective care while contributing to positive patient outcomes and experiences.

### Main duties of the job

- Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding
- Record patient observations including vital signs and escalate concerns
- Support clinical procedures such as wound care, venepuncture, and catheter removal (after training)
- Assist with medication administration and oxygen therapy (after training)
- Escort patients and support enhanced observations
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient dignity and confidentiality

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

These vacancies are open to experienced Clinical Support Workers who:

- Have previous experience working in a healthcare setting as a Clinical Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant.
- Hold the relevant qualifications required for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker (Higher Level) role, as detailed in the person specification.
- Have a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
- Can demonstrate the knowledge, skills and experience required to work effectively within an acute healthcare environment.
- Are able to commit to a full week of induction training at the start of employment.
- Are able to work flexibly across a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of our services.
- Hold GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
