We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Workers to join our older adult medical wards. We are recruiting for both ward JO7 and J21. Ward J21 is a 31 bedded acute assessment ward for older adults, dedicated to delivering high quality care for the population of Leeds aged 75 and over. It caters to a diverse group of elderly male and female patients. When patients medical care needs are assessed and they need further care and treatment they will transfer to one of the base wards of which J07 is one.

What you will bring to the role

The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of providing safe, compassionate care to patients. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. A positive, flexible approach and team-oriented mindset are required. We are looking for clinical support workers to cover a 24 hour rota.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team that is creative and enthusiastic. Your role will involve providing both direct and indirect compassionate care to patients in support of the multidisciplinary team. You will undertake a range of delegated clinical patient care duties and may work under direct or indirect supervision by a registered practitioner.

The successful candidate will assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care as part of the multidisciplinary team. You are expected to maintain high standards of patient care through effective planning, implementation, and delivery. You should be proactive in taking appropriate actions and acting independently to achieve desired outcomes.

It is essential that all practice aligns with Trust policies, guidelines, standards, statutory requirements, and that you operate within your defined competency boundaries.
