The user groups for this are people with neurological impairment of walking, for example MS or stroke In addition the service collects both video and instrumented gait analysis data; including kinematics, kinetics, EMG and physical examination. The post holder will primarily involved with the observational video gait analysis of inpatients and outpatients, including those in amputee rehabilitation and inpatient neurological rehabilitation patients. All services are delivered alongside Clinical Scientists who provide technical and clinical expertise and will support effective service delivery. There is scope to build into support of the instrumented gait analysis service as the post holder develops their gait analysis skills. They would be responsible for data interpretation and reporting, along with presenting at multidisciplinary meetings where relevant.
