We're looking for a Clinical Specialist Nutrition Support Dietitian to join our welcoming and forward-thinking Community Nutrition and Dietetics team. This role has been developed following the success of a similar model within our Allied Health Professional (AHP) services offering a unique opportunity to shape the role and make it your own, while influencing the future of specialist nutritional care, across our community services. You'll provide a high level of dietetic expertise for adults with complex nutritional needs, including those requiring specialist nutrition support in primary care, patients living with frailty or complex tissue damage and home enterally fed patients (HEF). Working across outpatient clinics, patients' own homes and care settings, you'll work alongside an experienced Band 7 Clinical Lead to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. Beyond your clinical expertise, you'll play an important role in developing the service and supporting the clinical development of colleagues through supervision, mentoring and education. You'll also help strengthen partnerships with multidisciplinary teams and external services, ensuring joined-up care and contributing to the continued growth and innovation of the service. ### Main duties of the job If you're looking for a role where you can combine advanced clinical practice with leadership, service development and the opportunity to make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you. As a Clinical Specialist Nutrition Support Dietitian, you will: - Provide specialist nutritional care for adults requiring nutrition support across community settings, both in primary care caseloads, such as frailty and sarcopenia, tissue damage, as well as complex home enterally fed patients. - Work across outpatient clinics, patients' own homes, and care and nursing homes, to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. - Support the clinical development of colleagues, students and apprentices, sharing specialist knowledge, through supervision, mentoring, clinical professional development (CPD) and training - Contribute to the ongoing development of the Community Dietetics service, helping to shape and improve how care is delivered. - Build and strengthen partnerships with multidisciplinary teams and external services to support integrated care. - Lead and contribute to education, quality improvement, clinical governance and service innovation. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities We hope that the advert has given you a clear understanding of the skills we are seeking and the opportunity at hand.
