The post holder will support current activity and help develop a sustainable portfolio of studies.

## Person Specification

### Written and oral

**Essential**

- Registered Nurse (Part of Nursing and Midwifery Council Register depending on area of practice)
- UK recognised first level degree (HEI Level 6), in Nursing
- Significant experience and expertise within speciality of the recruiting area for the research nurse role – supplemented by specialist training to post-graduate diploma level
- Knowledge of research methodologies
- Competency in clinical skills relevant to clinical research area
- Organised and able to prioritise own workload

**Desirable**

- Specialist post-graduate education / qualifications, or training relevant to area of clinical practice and/or clinical research delivery
- Good Clinical Practice Training
