### Job overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part time X-ray Radiographer to join our team, serving the community hospitals across Ely, Doddington, and Wisbech.

This cross-site role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a friendly and supportive environment. Our radiographers need to be able to work both as part of a wider team and autonomously at some sites, taking responsibility for their decision making and workload prioritisation; with remote assistance available when needed. Our imaging departments provide X-ray services for Minor Injuries Units, Inpatients, Outpatients and GP referrals, including weekend working.

### Main duties of the job

Produce high quality diagnostic images and provide high quality patient care to the service users adhering to national guidelines and taking into account relevant legislation including, but not limited to, the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) 2017 and the Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017 (IRR17).

The post holder will participate in all areas of the clinical rota which is focussed on plain film radiographer working independently and unsupervised. The ability to prioritise the workload is essential. Provide leadership, motivation and training for junior staff.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

- DCR or BSC Hons in Radiology or equivalent qualification

- Knowledge and local NHS targets and initiatives
- Knowledge of CRIS and PACS

**Desirable**

- Quality Control

### Experience

**Desirable**

- Minimum of 2 years NHS experience
