This is a twelve month, 0.8WTE (4 days a week) role to cover maternity leave and support the team to continue to deliver psychological work within the pathway. We are looking for someone who is passionate about promoting psychological thinking at every level and working with complex presentations and systems.  The successful candidate will be working as part of a small team of Psychologists into the ward. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will provide psychological assessments, formulations and interventions. This includes neuropsychological assessments. The post holder will contribute to clinical discussions and decision making alongside the wider multidisciplinary team. The post holder will facilitate team formulations and reflective practice as well as clinical supervision and consultation in accordance with service needs. Skills in evidence based psychological interventions. - Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinical sensitive information to clients, their family, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS. - Skills in providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups. **Desirable** - Experience working with psychosis ### Knowledge and Experience **Essential** - Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient settings. - Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course with presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity, including severe and enduring mental health problems, psychosis and personality disorder.
