This is an exciting opportunity to join a continually developing service, Within the team you will be working with a multidisciplinary team inclusive of Mental Health Nurses, Psychiatrists, Therapists, occupational Therapist, Assistant Practitioners, as well as prison based professionals. ### Main duties of the job The post is based at HMP Norwich. The role will involve working closely with the Mental Health In Reach team providing a specialist assessment and intervention provision , complimenting the current multi-disciplinary team You will be working with men who may self-harm, have attempted suicide, and/or experience high levels of anxiety or trauma/PTSD. The role includes having an active contribution in reducing self-harm, self destructive and violent behaviour. Clinical: Provision of specialist psychology assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for individuals and groups, referred to the service. Training & Development: Supporting and where appropriate implementing and delivering training to embed psychologically informed practices within the multidisciplinary team, supporting a stepped care model of psychological care.
