These include: - EEGs: In the department on outpatients and inpatients: portable recordings on the wards, in ITU’s and during specialist procedures. To discover more about what makes UCLH a great place to work, visit: Why Choose UCLH? ## Person Specification ### Experience **Essential** - Provide evidence (including indicative numbers) for independent performance of all EEG modalities - Provide evidence of ability to work in technically challenging environments. - Demonstrate ability to work with patients with challenging or confrontational behaviour - Evidence of continued professional development. - Evidence (including indicative numbers) for independent performance of VEP, PERGs, SEP studies - Evidence (including indicative numbers) for performance of nerve conduction studies - Evidence of experience of supervising students or trainees. - Demonstrate ability to organise and prioritise their own work. **Desirable** - Experience in IOMN or willingness to receive training in IOM - Demonstrate ability to work with neonates and children - Evidence (including indicative numbers) for independent performance of AEP and MEP studies ### Skills and Abilities **Essential** - Must be able to show that they understand the value of SOPs and adhere to them in the daily work. - Support with the development and maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures and policies - Must be able to show that they can perform the full range of EEG investigations on adults, children and neonates, both in the outpatient Department and as a portable recording on wards and ITUs.
