This is an exciting time for our department and the future development of our service as we have recently moved to a new hospital with a purpose-built photographic studio. ### Main duties of the job Based at The Royal Liverpool we provide a wide range of medical photographic services working for a variety of specialties such as Tissue Viability, Dermatology, Breast, Orthopaedics, Vascular and Infectious Diseases, working alongside Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and other clinicians from both medical and surgical directorates. The service also contributes to medico – legal services, by providing general photography, and videography for trust wide services. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and qualified medical photographer who is friendly, self-motivated, conscientious, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. The candidate will offer excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the technical ability to join our team, with working knowledge of Photoshop and a thorough understanding of digital technology. The postholder will need to have a degree in Medical Photography or a degree in Photography plus relevant clinical experience, with excellent organisational skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to work professionally and sympathetically, in a fast-paced environment. Skills in time management and prioritising workloads are essential, whist supporting the senior photographer. Cross site working is also required on rotational periods.
