Examples of areas include medicine, surgery including pre-operative clinics, mental health, aseptic services, community hospitals and community resource teams. You will have mentorship from experienced advanced and consultant pharmacists in a variety of clinical areas. You will be supported to develop your prescribing role and to gain core advanced level credentialing with the RPS. We have good links with local universities which provide research and development opportunities. We support further education through advanced and extended practice funding. Our clinical pharmacy team provides a high quality, patient-centred service ensuring safe and effective use of medicines across the integrated health community. The implementation of the Better Meds electronic prescribing system  earlier this year is transforming our way of working. As a pharmacist working in various multi-disciplinary teams, you will deliver excellent pharmaceutical care and medicines optimisation to achieve the best outcome for our patients. ### Main duties of the job We recognise that our profession's future leadership will come from pharmacist like you with drive and ability.  Your professionalism, excellent inter-personal skills and enthusiasm, will equip you to be a valued contributor to our service and to be a key member of our clinical pharmacy team.
