Are you a motivated and patient-focused Clinical Pharmacist looking to develop your career within one of the UK's leading independent healthcare providers? At The London Clinic, we are seeking a talented Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to join our highly regarded Pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to build your clinical expertise across a diverse range of surgical and medical specialties. Working alongside experienced pharmacists, consultants, nurses and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in optimising medicines use, enhancing patient outcomes and delivering exceptional standards of care.

What You'll Be Doing As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will:

Deliver a comprehensive, patient-centred clinical pharmacy service across a variety of specialist wards.

Perform medicines optimisation, reconciliation and discharge planning to support safe and effective patient care.

Provide expert medicines advice and evidence-based information to patients and healthcare professionals.

Support continuity of care through liaison with healthcare providers following patient discharge.

Participate in service improvement initiatives, audits and medicines management projects.

Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines throughout the organisation.

Provide dispensary support, including prescription screening and final checking.

Participate in the pharmacy on-call service, as well as evening, weekend and bank holiday rotas.

Support the education and development of pharmacy colleagues and healthcare professionals.

Undertake and successfully complete the Pharmacy Clinical Diploma.

Essential

Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Post-registration experience within a UK hospital pharmacy setting.

Experience across a range of hospital pharmacy rotations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

A proactive and patient-focused approach to care.

Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience.

Independent Prescriber qualification.

Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and/or UK Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA).

Previous hospital pre-registration experience.
