Providing person centered compassionate care to patients and their families. Holistically assess patients’ needs and plan individual person centered are around those needs. Have an in-depth knowledge and expertise in the speciality to provide patient information, advice and clinical care. To provide education and be a resource to other health care professionals This post plays a pivotal role in improving patient experience, clinical outcomes, and continuity of care for individuals as part of their cancer treatment. You will work closely with oncology consultants, nursing teams, pharmacy, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centred care. ### Main duties of the job Act as the key clinical point of contact for patients receiving cancer treatment Provide specialist clinical advice, education, and support to patients and their families Develop and maintain patient information resources and education materials Support informed decision‑making and holistic needs assessments Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives Provide education and support to nursing and multidisciplinary colleagues Work autonomously within agreed protocols while collaborating closely with the MDT ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click “Apply now” to view in Trac ### Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration. Degree in healthcare related subject. Masters level education in health-related subject or on a Masters pathway. Post- registration qualification in cancer/palliative care or relevant subject. Advanced communication skills training or evidence/experience of advanced communication skills. Evidence of continued professional development. **Desirable** - Independent prescribing. Teaching qualification. Experience of audit and research.
