We seek an experienced oncology nurse leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centred cancer care and driving service improvement. The role of Lung Cancer Nurse Specialist is a great opportunity to develop your clinical and professional practice along with leadership and management experience. The post holder will be an effective core member of the lung cancer Multidisciplinary Team, acting as an expert practitioner within the lung cancer team demonstrating highly developed specialist knowledge in the management of patients with thoracic cancers and their physical and emotional care. This will include supporting patients throughout their pathway from investigations through their treatments, oncology care pathways and post treatment. ### Main duties of the job The successful candidate will have the ability to manage complex patients and their complex needs. This will ensure patients are able to make informed decisions about the treatments offered to them. You will be a highly skilled practitioner acting as a specialist resource to support the team.
