This is a permanent post and is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team caring for children with all forms of metabolic bone disease, predominantly osteogenesis imperfecta. We are a nationally commissioned service heavily involved in research and new drug therapies for our patient group. The CNS team provide patients and their families with education and support at the time of diagnosis and beyond. They are a point of contact for families and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves co-ordination and organisation of patient admissions, including medical   treatments for children who travel from throughout the UK to attend our specialist service. Working within a specialist Children’s hospital, the successful candidate can expect to build close working relationships with other members of the team such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers and psychology. Applicants must be NMC registered and have at least 2 years Band 5 experience.
