The successful applicant will join a vibrant department which values its staff and places on wellbeing and good practice. This role will cover both sites of Darlington Memorial Hospital and Bishop Auckland Hospital. ### Main duties of the job The clinical nurse specialist will use specialist knowledge and skills to provide health care to patients attending the department for injections. The post holder will work alongside the medial retina consultants in the provision of care for Age related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic patients. When trained in this role you will be expected to inject around 14 patients per list.
