RNENTEDH, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Clinical Nurse Specialist Allergy post at RNENT &  EDH Hospitals, University College London Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be managing the care of patients within the divisional Allergy Department.

This is a substantive role, covering a full time role of 37.5 hour per week. We are looking to have a nurse with relevant clinical experience, with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, who adapts to new ways of working in an evolving  service who is positive, collaborative and supportive.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will be managing the care of patients in the Allergy Department.

The working hours will be Full-Term 37.5 per week, permanent post.

- a. Relevant experience at Band 6
- b. Previous experience in adult allergy service

### Communication

**Essential**

- a. Demonstrates awareness of the importance of working as part of a multi –Disciplinary team.
- b. Communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in electronic formats
- c. Communicates with patients and carers in an empathetic manner
- d. Demonstrates understanding of good practice in Customer Care
- e. Ability to work with electronic patient records (EPR)

### Skills and Abilities

- a. Demonstrates awareness of research and evidence-based practice
- b. Demonstrates understanding of principles of Clinical Governance
- c. Prioritises own workload
