### Job summary

An exciting Band 6 opportunity has arisen at St James Hospital within Renal Services in the Advanced Kidney Care CNS team.

We are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking registered nurse with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

### Main duties of the job

Applicants are required to have:

Significant post-registration experience at Band 5 or equivalent, some of which should be within renal medicine.
Recognised Teaching/Assessment qualification.
Recognised Non-medical prescriber qualification, or willingness to undertake within the first 6 months.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Evidence of multidisciplinary team working.
The ability to work both autonomously, and as part of a team.

There is the opportunity for professional development and an individualised in-service induction package will be available for the successful applicant, supported by the Renal Unit Clinical Education Team.
