Applications are invited for a permanent  position of Clinical Manager -CT– Band 8a AFC  within the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).

This role will cover the UHDB CT service as the Royal Derby Hospital, Queens Hospital, Burton and  static CT services in  our community sites, such as  Florence Nightingale community hospital and Ilkeston Community Hospital and mobiles pads for CT services at Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital in Tamworth.

This role works closely with our other clinical managers across our other modalities, as well as other administrative colleagues.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join UHDB and lead our established and dynamic team in continuing to develop our growing Acute and Community Diagnostic Services across our service and provide a high quality, patient focused CT service, which supports a wide range of clinical specialties.

### Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Radiographer with a proven track record of excellent leadership qualities, innovation and driving successful change and service improvement within a busy General CT Department. You must be keen to further your skills operating within a fast-paced environment whilst supporting a service to transform and deliver. You will be joining the team of Clinical Managers within UHDB Imaging and will be taking part in the operational leadership, working closely with our Senior Management/Clinical/administration teams ensuring that a high quality and responsive service is delivered across UHDB. Effective communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level are vital. A successful track record of managing change and the ability to effectively engage with and develop our dedicated Imaging Team is key.
