If so, then we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our forward thinking and committed Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust based across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent.

Our services are uniquely integrated with all other Community Services within our geographical patch, ensuring that the patient is at the core of the care delivery. All Nursing and AHP services are co-located and sat within the same portfolio ensuring a comprehensive, supportive, collaborative leadership structure which you will contribute to and be a part of.

### Main duties of the job

This role carries a responsibility to ensure clinical best practice is being informed and delivered in the Musculoskeletal Service. It is the key link between Musculoskeletal Services and all other system partners including wider MPFT colleagues, PCN, ICB and the acute providers.

You will be an integral part of the Leadership Team, which is multi-professional and collaborative, with clear objectives. We seek a like-minded individual who is forward thinking, innovative and keen to openly work with colleagues striving to move our Musculoskeletal Services forward as one.

This is underpinned by a master’s level award or equivalent that encompasses the four pillars of advanced clinical practice; leadership and management, education, clinical and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competence.

To work as the Clinical Lead for MSK Services within Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, this will include the delivery of advanced MSK patient assessment and diagnosis for a highly complex clinical caseload covering adult patients. This may involve a range of complex clinical undifferentiated or diagnosed conditions using an advanced scope of practice.

You will have supervisory, training and leadership responsibilities where appropriate as the Clinical Lead for Musculoskeletal Services and will have some responsibility for team performance and service developments/improvements and demonstrate initiative and creativity in finding solutions to problems.
