It will focus on helping to develop clinical engagement and influencing mental health systems to enhance quality care delivery, reduce inequity and improve access to care for patients with learning disabilities and neurodiversity within the Humber and North Yorkshire footprint. In addition, the post will assist with the co-development and support of the clinical strategic direction of the Collaborative Programme in regard to learning disabilities and autism. ### Main duties of the job The post-holder will have good negotiation skills and the ability to influence and work in a flexible way to support the work of the Collaborative Programme. In addition, they will need to be able to work effectively across organisational boundaries with GPs, Learning Disability, Neurodiversity and Mental Health Clinicians and professionals involved in service delivery, health and social care commissioners, health and local authority providers and a range of partners across the Collaborative Programme and the ICS, including experts by experience and their families. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with the Learning Disabilities and Neurodiversity Workstream Lead and the Mental Health Clinical Leads within the Collaborative Programme.
