Please be advised that these are full-time posts, commencing in both August and October 2025. Successful applicants will be required to work the full range of shifts which will include days, long-days, nights and weekends on a rota basis. Our Healthcare Support Workers deliver a key role that’s at the very heart of healthcare, and can be found across a variety of settings, from hospital clinics, to our wards and outreach services. What ever your background story, if you're aged 18 years or over and have a passion for caring and supporting others, we want to hear from you. It’s a hands-on-role, but also one of the most rewarding. Your day-to-day will vary depending on which part of the NHS you’re working in. Start date - August and October start dates (exact dates to be confirmed). ### Main duties of the job ### New to Care - Healthcare Support Workers Band 2 For entrants without any previous experience, we offer a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker post. These individuals will provide personal care to our patients, supporting patients with aspects such as toileting, bathing, dressing and meals. Full training and support will be provided to all individuals via our Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship development programme. Successful applicants are required to evidence their right to work in the UK, and provide evidence of continuous UK residency for a minimum of three years to fulfil the national apprenticeship programme requirements. Experienced Candidates - Clinical Healthcare Support Workers Band 3 For those with existing experience, we have opportunities for Band 3 Clinical Healthcare Support Workers, whose role will be to undertake a range of delegated clinical care duties, recording patient observations and progressing patients treatment plans within guidelines set. Clinical duties may include taking blood pressure, blood glucose monitoring, routine observations, wound observations and simple wound dressings, removal of peripheral cannulas and catheters. Our Band 3 Clinical Healthcare Support Workers work without the need for direct supervision. Ongoing training and development will however be provided to ensure the enhanced clinical competencies have been achieved relevant to the ward/area of specialty. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities ### Simplified Application Process We understand that the size of the NHS can sometimes make it difficult to navigate, especially with the different areas and various specialities!
