Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice by the intended start date. ### Main duties of the job Leeds Childrens Hospital provides a wide range of specialist paediatric care, which is greater than most childrens hospitals in the UK. These specialities include: There are excellent facilities including 4 dedicated paediatric ultrasound rooms, 2 mobile ultrasound machines, 2 radiographic rooms, a fluoroscopy suite, nuclear medicine facilities, shared use of 1.5 and 3.0 Tesla MRI scanners, three multi-slice CT scanners and an angiography suite. This vibrant and supportive department offers potential candidates the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide spectrum of Paediatric Radiology with a diverse and fascinating case load. Dedicated training in a variety of sub-specialties including paediatric intervention can also be offered. Active involvement in audit, research, presentation at national and international meetings as well as participation in local courses is strongly encouraged.
