The post holder is responsible for the care of patients on the inpatient rehabilitation wards and Discharge Lounge and will be expected to provide medical leadership in the absence of the GP. **Please note this advert may close earlier than advertised due to potential high volume of applications ** ### Main duties of the job The post holder is required to work flexibly across the wards and discharge lounge in line with service needs. The post holder would be expected to review patient's holistically, facilitate safe and effective complex discharge planning as well as manage and escalate acute illness in line with clinical competence. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The post is offered at 16 hours per week, which will cover ward work/rounds and multi disciplinary meetings.
