Applications are invited for a 12-month clinical fellow with an interest in Endometriosis and Minimal Access surgery, within the busy and thriving Elizabeth Garret Anderson Hospital, University College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

This role is designed to significantly develop your skills in endometriosis and minimal access surgery. As part of our team, you will gain an invaluable blend of clinical, educational, and management skills that will benefit you throughout your professional journey.

### Main duties of the job

The UCLH Endometriosis Service consists of a multidisciplinary team that is able to assess and treat women with all grades of endometriosis ranging from mild disease to the most severe form involving the bladder and bowel.

The postholder will be an integral part of the service taking part direct clinical care, remote consultations, leading or assisting on the preparation of MDT clinics, theatre lists etc. and may be required to participate in daytime on call cover. The postholder will gain significant experience in the diagnosis, medical and surgical management of endometriosis.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Postgraduate experience in gynaecology

**Desirable**

- Evidence of audits and/or research

### Communication

**Essential**

- Good general clinical and communication skills

### Skills and Abilities

**Essential**

- Competent at intermediate laparoscopic procedures

### Knowledge and Qualifications

**Essential**

- Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practise
- MBBS or equivalent
- MRCOG Part 2 or equivalent
- A good understanding of general gynaecology

**Desirable**

- Research training

- Highly motivated and can demonstrate the ability to motivate other
