Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST6+) / Senior in Urology (Robotic Prostatectomy) to commence from 1 October 2026 until 30 September 2027 at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Addenbrooke’s Hospital has one of the longest established robotic programmes in the UK. It is also one of the highest volume robotic surgical centres and has been undertaking robotic training for over 10 years.

The purpose of the post is to provide Peri/Post CCT training and competencies in Robotic Cystectomy Surgery and experience in subspecialist clinics.

The Urology Department consists of 21 Urology Consultants, including 3 Academic Consultants. The department centralises provision of Urological Oncology Care including bladder, prostate, kidney and testicular cancers to a large part of the East Anglian Region in addition to fulfilling its District Hospital functions.

### Main duties of the job

The post-holder will participate in a middle grade, non-resident 1 in 9 on-call rotas.

In order to be considered applicants must meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification and have:

- MRCS or equivalent qualification.
- FRCS (Urol/FEBU) or equivalent.
- Completed a minimum of four years Specialty Registrar or equivalent training in Urology in the UK or equivalent.

Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.
