Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Radiology (Cross Sectional) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) to commence from 5th August 2026 until 3rd August 2027.

### Main duties of the job

In order to be considered applicants must meet the essential criteria stated in the job description and have:

- Completed a minimum of four years of training as a Specialty Registrar in Radiology in the UK or proof of equivalent training.
- Have full General Medical Council accreditation or have an application in progress by the time of interview for the post.
- Experience working in acute radiology / recent experience with out of hours on call.
- Within 5 years of CCT or equivalent completion of training or within a current training post .
- FRCR 2B examination is not essential but desired.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of starting the post in August 2025 is mandatory.

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will also be expected to participate in the Senior Radiology Registrar on-call rota, currently a full shift pattern, albeit with Consultant supervision.

This timetable will be flexible and chosen by the candidate to include sub-specialist reporting sessions as well and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Sub-specialist interest sessions (80%): The successful candidate will have the opportunity to obtain training in a sub-specialist interest with a preference for: Chest/Cardiac Radiology, Gastrointestinal Radiology, Gynaecological & Uroradiology or Oncological Radiology. These can have the opportunity to learn relevant subspeciality interventional skills (e.g. biopsies & drains) and participate in research, audit and teaching at Cambridge University Hospital.

General radiology sessions (20%): Reporting chest and body CT, hot seat plain film reporting, general US, presentation at clinico-radiological meetings.
