### Job summary

The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust (MYTT) is seeking 2 highly motivated, clinically able applicants, who wish to gain experience in clinical IT to work within our Chief Clinical Information Officers (CCIO) team. MYTT has launched a transformational programme to deliver the Nervecentre EPR in 2 tranches over the next 18 months and these posts are funded through that programme. The post has been specifically designed for trainees who are looking to take a 12-month break from their training, after successfully completing at least their FY2 year. This is a 12-month post, beginning as soon as possible, however an August 2026 start date is preferable and would be part time 50%. Applicants will have the opportunity to join the internal locum bank to work shifts in their chosen specialty to maintain clinical skills and networking. Successful applicants will work cross-site at Pinderfields Hospital and Dewsbury District Hospital. MYTT is procuring and implementing a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and the successful applicant would be working alongside the project team to help deliver this large transformational project. Essential person specification requirements

To meet the requirements of this role, applicants must demonstrate the following essential criteria:

- Full GMC Registration with licence to practise
- Medical Degree from recognised medical school
- Successful FY2 ARCP outcome or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Evidence of an enthusiastic interest in clinical IT/informatics.
- Recent experience working (within last 2 years) in UK NHS hospitals.
- Demonstrates intelligent and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Good communication skills.
