Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust is a busy acute hospital serving communities across South West London and Surrey. The Clinical Engineering Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the medical equipment used throughout the Trust is safe, reliable and ready to support patient care. The team maintains, services, repairs and tests a wide range of medical devices, working closely with clinical staff to ensure equipment is available whenever it is needed. As a Clinical Engineering Volunteer, you will work alongside the department to support the day-to-day management of medical equipment. By assisting with a range of non-clinical tasks, you will help keep essential devices available for use, enabling clinical teams to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care to patients every day. Essential Information: If you are interested in more than 1 role, please submit your application on your initial preference (other roles can be discussed at assessment). Please kindly note, you will be given a 20-minute assessment on the week commencing either the 28th September 2026 or 5th October 2026 at Kingston Hospital. The Mandatory training for this role will be on Tuesday 24th November 2026. Please only apply if you are able to attend the above date. NB: If you are aged 16 - 19 years, in full time education and you are unable to provide two documents from group 2 above, please provide the following: - Full UK birth certificate (A4 size original , not photocopy, containing mother and fathers details) - Letter from head teacher or college principal, confirming you are a student and containing your name, current address and date of birth, PLUS an official exam certificate in your name and a National Insurance number letter.
