This role is for 1 or 2 days a week, with a potential for job share. (Please note in this text Clinical Endoscopist refers to nurses and/or allied health professionals who have trained to carry out Endoscopy procedures) The post holder will sit within the NHSE South East Cancer and Diagnostics Programme and will be instrumental in leading the ongoing development of the South East Endoscopy Training Academy. The postholder will provide expert professional advice to develop and lead the education and training strategy for the South East Endoscopy Training Academy. This will support regional workforce expansion and ensure that training needs are identified and met across the region. The individual will act as a key contact for clinical endoscopist trainees and their mentors. ### Main duties of the job To act as a local expert resource supporting the development of a regional training programme for Clinical Endoscopists To act as the main point of contact for local partners. To co-ordinate training programmes within the South East, including organising and managing of large multi-professional working group meetings.
