An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Administrator to join our established administration team in the Adult Home Treatment Team based in Sheffield.

Our team prides itself on being a group of experienced, supportive, and motivated individuals, with the ability to motivate and influence others, suggest, and implement ideas to improve service performance and efficiency.

Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. If you hold a visa which allows you to work in the UK, you are welcome to apply for this role however our policy requires you to have at least 12 months on your visa at commencement of your employment for training and operational reasons. This means that you need at least 15 months right to work in the UK at the point of application to enable employment checks to be undertaken.

### Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive Clinical Administration support service to our multi-disciplinary team of professionals. The primary function of the role will be the initial point of contact for service users, professionals and carers contacting for mental health support and guidance. This will then lead on to the associated administrative tasks relating to these calls, which will include taking clear factual notes for inputting onto the electronic patient record, therefore listening skills are of paramount importance for the role.

You should be enthusiastic about the challenges of working in a busy environment and can remain calm under pressure. Additionally, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be motivated, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and able to work with other partnership agencies.

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

**Essential**

- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Wide range of admin skills including minute taking
- Ability to prioritise workload
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

**Desirable**

- Ability to research/access information

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Previous admin experience gained in a similar role
- Experience of managing and maintaining office systems
- Experience of working with a range of software including the standard Microsoft Office suite

**Desirable**

- Experience of working in an NHS/healthcare environment
- Previous experience of working with diverse and vulnerable populations

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- BTEC or NVQ L3 in Business Admin or equivalent level of experience
- RSA 3 Word Processing / Typewriting or equivalent level of experience
- Good standard of education at GCSE level or higher

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of RiO or other healthcare related system
