### Job overview

We are looking to recruit a part time receptionist to join our clerical team within the Deanesly Centre at New Cross Hospital.

The role will encompass dealing with patients, clinical and non-clinical staff by face to face and telephone; subsequently you will require excellent communications skills. A flexible approach to this role is essential to ensure the demands of the service are met.

As part of the team you will be registering patients onto the clinic computer system whereby accuracy is essential.

Working knowledge of all common computer applications including word is essential, as you will be required to carry out a wide range of transactions and associated data input.  Specialist training will be given on ‘in house’ systems.

You will also require a clear understanding of the concept of confidentiality of personal health information.
