The post holder will work as a member of the Clinical Haematology team providing administrative and clerical support to both the medical secretaries and the clinical team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the service within Complex Care.

### Main duties of the job

- To support the departmental management team in delivering high quality administrative and clerical services to patients and services
- To undertake receptionist duties including management of LE2.2 outpatients attendances, booking of follow-up appointments, ambulances and procedures in line with the department
- Assist the medical secretaries with filing correspondence and investigation results, maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Update LE2.2 tracking system to show location and current status of case notes in relation to document management.
- Request and search for case notes
- Booking of interpreters for outpatient/inpatient clinic appointments
- Preparations for daily clinic as required
- Completing clinic outcomes and missing clinic outcomes on EPR and LE2.2

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

- Trained in the use of LE2.2
- Previous experience of working in the NHS

### Qualifications

- Maths GCSE A-C / 4-9 or equivalent
- English GCSE A-C / 4-9 or equivalent
