Due to current Home Office Guidelines, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Estates & Facilities Cleaning Services Department as a Cleaning Services Assistant.

Successful candidates will be required to provide and maintain appropriate cleaning standards in areas within the Trust.

With numerous positions available the successful applicants will have the opportunity to work full and part time hours or weekends.

There is a necessity to comply with the Trusts policies and procedures, and to have an understanding of confidentiality.

### Main duties of the job

- Work as part of the existing cleaning services team and provide a professional customer focused quality service within available resources.
- Clean specific public areas of the hospital using specialist cleaning equipment and ensuring that the cleaning is undertaken to the required standard of hygiene in accordance with national standards of cleanliness and internal standard operating procedures. This includes entrances, corridors, stairs, lifts, toilet facilities, ward areas, theatres, and departments within the hospital.
- Be responsible for the monitoring, recording/receipting of cleaning materials and ensuring any shortfalls in delivery are reported to supervision.
- Use specialist equipment and new innovative technologies to support the reduction in hospital acquired infection and maintain high levels of hospital cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with the waste disposal policy.

- Good command of the English Language
