### Job summary

In this role, you'll be trusted to monitor cleaning standards and ensure safe, high-quality environments for patients, staff and visitors. You'll work closely with estates, clinical teams and external partners to check that cleaning meets national standards and supports safe care. Your work will help services show clear evidence of quality and improve where needed. You'll manage your own workload, carry out audits and share findings that drive positive change across services.

### Main duties of the job

What you'll do:

- Carry out cleanliness audits using agreed tools and standards
- Produce clear reports and highlight areas for improvement
- Work with teams to develop and track action plans
- Provide advice and training where standards are not met
- Maintain accurate data and support continuous improvement

What we're looking for:

- Experience in administration, audits or compliance work
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
- Strong communication skills with confidence working across teams
- Ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Good working knowledge of range of software, including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Working knowledge and understanding of the bases that CHCP and Group Companies work from.
- Working knowledge of a range of administrative procedures

**Desirable**

- Complete understanding of the National Cleaning Standards 2025 and ensuring awareness of any amendments/changes

### Experience

**Essential**

- Demonstrable administrative experience
- Previous experience of setting up and managing office systems
- Previous experience of carrying out audit processes
- Previous experience of planning and prioritising own work to meet deadlines

**Desirable**

- Previous experience of working within a healthcare environment.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Level 4 qualification in an appropriate subject, such as Business Administration or Customer Service or able to demonstrate equivalent level of knowledge and experience

**Desirable**

- Level 3 training qualification
