There is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to support our services at St Leonards Hospital, Ringwood

This post is 12.5 hours per week

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in non-clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.

This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.

The post offers an opportunity to work extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays.

Good pay rates -- weekend enhancements

Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful.

### Main duties of the job

To support the Facilities Manager in their role and to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented and maintained.

Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which the Trust will cover the cost of.  Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
